Plot Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023) movie

John Luther investigates the kidnapping of the cleaner Callum Aldrich. The serial killer David Robey finds the kompromat on DCI Luther. As a result, John Luther is fired and in prison.

Years later, David Robey informs the parents of eight victims about the location of their children. Eventually, he makes the burning of the victims and brags to DCI in prison. Luther realizes that he can stop the criminal and asks Dennis for help. Finally, the guards and Dennis help him to escape from prison.

Robey kidnaps Raines’ daughter, Anya, and forces Odette to stab John. Luther refuses to kill Raine and informs all views about the police. David escapes, but John fights with him. Eventually, the car sinks into a frozen lake and Robey drowns. Luther is secured at the last moment.
