Plot Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 5
Leslie takes Will to a club where the jazz band is performing. It turns out Higgins can play a musical instrument and he was invited to perform with the jazz band. Meanwhile, Will receives the invitation from the young lady and her boyfriend. Trent follows Colin who leaves the team to visit the special bar. The writer confesses that he knows about Colin’s orientation for several months and he keeps silent about it.
The team can’t decide what event they want to visit together. Everybody has different preferences. The private party with dances is two hours’ drive away. Later, the waiter asks if somebody wants to see very tired people who are forced to spend time together. Eventually, every member of the team agrees to take part in the pillow fight.
Coach Beard offers Ted to relax and his special tea, but Ted refuses to drink the tea. After coach Beard leaves Ted drinks and realizes that he wants to see the Van Gogh pictures. He is emotional because the picture with sunflowers reminds him of his home state. This flower is the symbol of Kansas. Eventually, he visits an American restaurant where he writes about the new triangle strategy inspired by watching the game on tv.
When Ted shows his new triangle soccer strategy, Coach Beard reveals that this strategy was invented in 1970. It turns out that it is called Total Football. But it will be useful to use it because the team needs a new fresh strategy. Rebecca returns to the bus, and she doesn’t have her phone. All members of the team are satisfied with their travel to Amsterdam.
